When ministering to the (lost), keep in mind, they were once there. We are all connected to God in an intimate way. It's just that the (lost) made a conscious or unconscious decision to leave the relationship. Therefore, when sharing God's message, come from a place of love and not an egotistical philosophy point of view, making it about you. Don't just make the message a script but have a deeper conviction, maybe this come with experience, no, I'm not talking age but seeing that movement of favor, when you knew it wasn't anything else but the hand of God got you out of that situation.
If ministering to the public is what you're deciding to do, keep these thoughts. That persons soul is fragile. You can't go in with the expectation that they're going to hang on your every word. Ego is strange like that. It makes you miss the big picture, i.e., them and not you.
Point blank, your intentions are good, great even. But learn first, when taking this position, you are taking a back seat to self. Anything else, your just playing a role or reading a script.
